Challenges.
Outdoor kitchens are high-ticket, fully custom purchases. Static catalogue photos can't convey real size, materials, or how a layout actually fits a customer's space. The result was hesitation, long sales cycles, and endless back-and-forth on quotes before a customer felt confident enough to commit.
Solutions.
We built a three-part visualization system: 1. Real-Time 3D Configurator: A WebGL configurator embedded directly on Stilt's site. Customers drag and drop modules, swap finishes and materials, and watch the model rebuild instantly — with live pricing that updates as they design. 2. Live AR on Phone: One tap launches WebAR (glTF for Android, USDZ for iOS via model-viewer). The finished design is placed at 1:1 scale through the phone camera, so customers see exactly how their kitchen looks in their own garden before buying. 3. Saved & Shareable Designs: Every configuration can be saved and shared, and lands in Stilt's pipeline as a fully-specced, qualified quote request — no manual measuring or guesswork for the sales team.
